Walking to Goat Camp

My story begins at a ranch, off highway one just north of Santa Barbara, California. I am starting my day off walking through the hills along the coast. I have to walk a mile or so to reach the goat camp where my dear friend Diana is spending her time.

I am full of wishes, all kinds of wishes. I wish I could go to Santa Barbara, I wish I didn’t want to go. I wish I lived there and only visited here. I wish I could let all of my past go, completely let it go, and have no attachment to it.

My a cappella singing really started when a dear friend asked me to sing at her wedding. At the time we were both living in Santa Barbara, but I was moving to New York City, and the wedding was going to be in South Carolina.
